The October 2019 issue of The Legend features Greg Fitzgerald’s 1966 GTO hardtop, which he acquired in 2002 as a rusted-out “but mostly complete except for the gas tank” project car. The Goat underwent a frame-off restoration that took the better part of 12 years. Greg, with assistance from his two sons and the support and encouragement of his wife (who convinced him to take on the very difficult project) did all of the work, including the Barrier Blue paint job. The result is what you see here, a GTOAA Concours Modified Gold-winning beauty.
Also in the October issue: “GRRR-8 Plates” (featuring GTOAA members’ custom license plates) and “Redi Rad” with G. Tom Oxler.
All this and more—classified ads, the GTOAA Club Store, etc.—in the October 2019 issue of The Legend, the only national automotive magazine devoted exclusively to Pontiac’s Great One!
