Ted Rosen’s 1968 GTO convertible, featured on the June 2019 issue cover, is very, very close to the GTO he bought new in 1968, and was stolen a year later in downtown Boston, never to be recovered. Ted’s original ride was Aegena Blue with a parchment interior and white top—a rare color combination—four-speed with Hurst shifter and Cragar SS wheels. The GTO you see here is equipped with the TH400 automatic with His-n-Hers shifter, Rally II wheels and power windows.
Also in the June issue: “Convention Corner” with Don Kruse; “Car of the Year Award” with Tom Dieglman; “Vintage GTO Road Test” with Dave Appleby; “Street Legends Cruise” with G. Tom Oxler; and “Model Car Build-Off” with Tim Sickle.
All this and more—classified ads, the GTOAA Club Store, etc.—in the June 2019 issue of The Legend, the only national automotive magazine devoted exclusively to Pontiac’s Great One!
